As the Senior Creative Technologist, you will lead the reinvention of The Bosco’s five main products, including development, improvement and iteration. You’ll work cross functionally with Creative to determine new hardware and software and write applicable programs with appropriate documentation. You also help develop the aesthetic of the standard outputs of the product, in terms of lighting, framing, color treatment, and so forth. Additionally, you work with Operations to provide solutions for rolling out product updates, and Guest Services for providing training information for event staff.

Job Functions:

  • Iterate, optimize and improve existing products, both in a technical capacity (fixing bugs, upgrading tech) and in a creative capacity (developing the look and feel of the outputs, lighting, cinematography, etc)

  • Manage and execute research and development of new products and innovation projects, reporting to Director of Creative.

  • Responsible for managing flow of technical information from the Creative department to the rest of the company, including creating, updating and managing resource documents for new and existing products.

  • Work on occasional custom client projects when the goals/technology relate to innovation projects, or project calls for a “mini-product.”

  • Manage the custom testing/innovation room and inventory.

Skills required:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in developing interactive software for Mac

  • 2+ years experience in the film world: photography, videography, lighting, etc

  • Experience with technology: AV equipment, cameras, projectors, printers, touch screens, etc

  • You’re a pro at Photoshop and After Effects

  • You have some familiarity with Swift and iOS

  • C++ / OpenFrameworks experience

  • Experience with physical computing

  • You have a good sense of design

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Motion graphics, compositing, or animation skills

  • Experience with physical computing

  • Experience in VR, AR, or MR

  • Experience in Unity and C# or Unreal

  • Adobe Illustrator / InDesign / Premiere Pro skills
